A downtown you can walk from, and a valley behind it

That puts two hotels within five minutes: the Braywood Inn, 143 Church Avenue, a small independent, and the Oshkosh Marriott Waterfront Hotel & Convention Center, 1 North Main Street, the city’s full-service property on the Fox River. Neenah, 22 minutes north on I-41, and Menasha, 24 minutes, share one hotel cluster at the south end of the Fox Cities.
