The real closest option
Six South St. Hotel sits about two blocks from the Green, and its marketing is refreshingly honest about what commencement season does to its availability: “Return guests are rewarded with priority booking,” and the more times you’ve stayed, “the better your chances of securing a guest room for important milestones.” Translation — if this is your first Dartmouth graduation and you’re booking cold, you’re behind families who’ve stayed here for parents’ weekends and reunions in past years. The other on-campus option: a dorm room
