December is stated in full

CCU’s fall commencement page: “The Fall 2026 Commencement ceremonies will take place on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the HTC Center.” 12 December 2026 is a Saturday. Two sittings, one building, on campus in Conway.

Which colleges take the morning and which the afternoon was not published at this check. CCU posts the split on the fall pages closer to the date; until then a family should hold the Friday night, which either sitting needs.

Spring 2027 is not stated at all

The commencement page says “Commencement Ceremonies are held each May and December” and gives no 2027 date. Spring 2026 was held 7 to 9 May with more than 2,060 eligible graduates, the largest class in CCU’s history. That is a pattern, not a date, and this page will not print a Spring 2027 date until Coastal Carolina does. The review scheduled for November checks for it.

Bag check, and tickets by college

Two standing rules from CCU’s own pages. All attendees enter through bag check, which means arriving earlier than the hour on the ticket. And in Spring 2026, admission was by college ticket allotment, with most colleges letting graduates claim up to six tickets. The December 2026 allotment was not published at this check; assume tickets and ask the graduate how many.

Watching from home

CCU has livestreamed its ceremonies. The December 2026 stream link was not posted at this check; the fall commencement page is where it appears.

Rooms are the easy part

Conway has three chain hotels on Highway 501, one of which CCU itself calls the closest to campus, and Myrtle Beach is twenty minutes east with a resort market in its December off-season. The where to stay page has the hotels, the 98-room count, and why the beach costs more in May than in December.
