Almost everything else about the day is unpublished, because vanderbilt.edu/commencement is still on the 2026 cycle.
You will see FirstBank Stadium quoted for Vanderbilt commencement in a lot of places, and the 2026 ceremony was held there. This page does not name it as the 2027 venue, because a hedge attached to a building’s name still reads as a claim.
So the position now is simpler. Recent Vanderbilt commencements, including 2026, were held at FirstBank Stadium. Vanderbilt has published no 2027 venue. Both of those are true and neither is a prediction.
The round is two days, not one
This is the part that changes a booking, and the cluster recorded none of it.

A family attending the whole round needs two nights, not one. Graduates Day is a real event on the day before, and it is in a different building from the main ceremony.
The main ceremony started at 9:00 a.m. That rules out arriving the same morning from anywhere further than about an hour, and it means the night before is not optional.
We are not publishing those hours as 2027 facts. They are what the last cycle looked like, and Vanderbilt has said nothing about the next one.
The ceremony where names are read is not the big one
Worth separating, because families often assume the opposite.
The university-wide ceremony is the shared event. It is generally not where individual graduates are named. Vanderbilt’s schools hold their own diploma ceremonies separately, around the same date, and those are where your graduate is recognised individually.
If you can only attend one thing, the school ceremony is usually the one that matters to the family, and its date and time come from the school rather than from the university calendar. Ask the school directly rather than waiting for the central schedule.
