Wabash Avenue runs along the south edge of the Indiana State campus, and the city’s two nearest hotels face each other on it. The Hilton Garden Inn, 750 Wabash Avenue, has 109 rooms over six floors per HotelGuides, eight tenths of a mile and three minutes from campus, full-service. Across the street the Candlewood Suites, 721 Wabash Avenue, has 97 suites with kitchens, an extended-stay format that suits a two-night weekend.
Five minutes south toward I-70, the Quality Inn, 555 South 3rd Street, has 82 rooms. HotelGuides lists more chain properties at the interstate exits beyond it.

What the entries do not say is where or when. The research behind this page named the Hulman Center; that claim came from a page this site could not load, and it is not stated here as fact.
