Kutztown University's commencement page states: "Kutztown University will celebrate the 2026 Fall Commencement on Saturday, December 12, 2026. The ceremony will take place in the O'Pake Fieldhouse." and "The combined ceremony for graduate and undergraduate students will start PROMPTLY at 10:00am on Saturday, December 12, 2026 in the O'Pake Fieldhouse." 12 December 2026 is a Saturday. Tickets, in the page's spring wording: "Each degree candidate will be allotted six (6) guest tickets"; "Children ages 3 and up are required to have a ticket"; "Guests will not be admitted without a ticket"; "Seating at the commencement ceremony is limited." Parking in Lots A2, A3, C1, C2, F1, F4 and F6, with complimentary shuttles from A2 to the fieldhouse from 7:45am to 5:00pm, and lots E-1 and E-2 reserved for handicap placards. The Spring 2027 dates are not confirmed: the 2026-2027 academic calendar PDF returned 404 on every check. Read on 20 September 2026.

One December morning, stated twice

Kutztown’s commencement page says it plainly and then says it again: “Kutztown University will celebrate the 2026 Fall Commencement on Saturday, December 12, 2026. The ceremony will take place in the O’Pake Fieldhouse.” And: “The combined ceremony for graduate and undergraduate students will start PROMPTLY at 10:00am on Saturday, December 12, 2026 in the O’Pake Fieldhouse.” 12 December 2026 is a Saturday. Fall graduates and graduate students walk together, one ceremony, one morning.

Spring 2027: unconfirmed, so unprinted

The academic-calendar page links a 2026-2027 Academic Calendar PDF. On 20 September 2026 that link returned 404, on repeated tries, and the HTML page around it carries no 2027 commencement text. A research packet for this site had read May 7 and 8 from the PDF earlier; this site does not print a date it cannot read itself. The May 2026 pattern, from the commencement page: master’s and doctoral candidates “should report no later than 4:00pm on Friday, May 15, 2026 for the 5:00pm ceremony”; Education and Liberal Arts & Sciences bachelor’s candidates by 8:00am “on Saturday, May 16, 2026 for the 9:00am ceremony”; Business and Visual & Performing Arts by 1:00pm “for the 2:00pm ceremony.” Three ceremonies across a Friday evening and a Saturday, all in the fieldhouse.

Six tickets, no exceptions at the door

The ticket section, still in spring wording when read: “Each degree candidate will be allotted six (6) guest tickets.” Tickets appear on the KU ticketing site a few days after the graduate buys regalia, are transferable by the graduate, and “are NEVER sold so the public cannot purchase tickets.” “Children ages 3 and up are required to have a ticket.” “Guests will not be admitted without a ticket.” Extra tickets go by random distribution with a deadline weeks before the ceremony, and the page adds: “Seating at the commencement ceremony is limited.”

The ceremonies “will be streamed live”, which for a limited fieldhouse is the plan for the seventh guest.

Park in A2, ride the shuttle

“Primary parking areas for the ceremonies are Lots A2, A3, C1, C2, F1, F4 and F6.” A2 and A3 are the most convenient for arriving and leaving, and “Complimentary shuttles will run continuously from 7:45am until 5:00pm from the A2 lot to the O’Pake Fieldhouse.” The lots nearest the fieldhouse, E-1 and E-2, are reserved for state-issued handicap plates or placards and the page warns those spaces are very limited. After the ceremony South Campus Drive closes from Court Lane to Baldy Street for pedestrians; the page suggests arranging a meeting place with the graduate beforehand.

One night, one hotel
